On behalf of Cornwall Council we manage and maintain approx.10,300 council homes. We look after approx. 400 leaseholders on behalf of the Council and manage garages, shops and land in neighbourhoods with council housing. Additionally we have 56 of our own homes that we built for social rent in Cornwall.

  • The Scrutiny Panel is a group tenants who take a deep dive into a chosen area of Cornwall Housing to see how well it is performing and to make recommendations on how it can improve.

    Currently we are looking at the Customer Service Team.  This is the team who receive the 0300 12341 161 calls and info@cornwallhousing.org.uk emails.

    We would like you to fill in this survey to help us understand your experience.  Your answers will be anonymous.  The survey will close on Fri 18th October.

    Our standards for home safety checks 

    This survey aims to understand what customer service you expect from us, when safety checks are carried out at your home.

    What are safety checks?

    Your safety is our top priority. To keep you safe, we undertake some regular ‘servicing’ safety checks on your home. This includes gas and electric testing, and servicing your heating system.

    Why review the standards now?

    We need a new contractor to provide these services. Your feedback will help us set the standards we expect from the new contractor.

    How long will the survey take?

    The survey includes 10 questions and should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. It also features an invite to get involved in an online focus group to finalise the proposed service standards.

    Introduction

    Your neighbourhood and where you live are as important as your home. At Cornwall Housing we are responsible for many of the shared spaces which make up these neighbourhoods and estates and want to work with residents, and other partners to make sure the work we do has a positive impact on where you live.  So we'd love to hear from you on what makes a good neighbourhood, to help decide what we'll aim to do over the next few years.

    Why now? 

    We are looking at:

    • how we can improve the way we manage our current services for cleaning and grounds maintenance
    • we've just introduced a new Estate Ranger Service and
    • we now want to look at what’s next and develop our Neighbourhoods Strategy.

    How long will the survey take? 

    The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and includes an invite to get involved in helping us to build better neighbourhoods.
