Cornwall Council are working with a group of young people from schools across Cornwall to run a campaign to increase recycling in schools.
We would like as many primary and secondary schools to get involved as possible.
We will be offering the school with the highest percentage increase in recycling, an exciting prize for their school.
The Recycle More! campaign will run from 25 April to 20 May 2022.
Please see an outline of the campaign below:
W/C 25 April - Campaign launch. Conduct a recycling audit in your school- see how much waste you produce and how much you recycling. This will be a chance to engage your students in the campaign.
2 - 13 May - Run your campaign by encouraging as much recycling on site as possible across the school site. We will provide you with resources to help your campaign.
16 - 20 May - Repeat the waste audit and show your progress. We will also help you evaluate your progress and think about next steps.
