Cornwall Council is reviewing its protocols for engagement between Elected Members, parish and town councils, and planning officers following the introduction of national planning reforms and the new National Scheme of Delegation. The revised protocols set out how we will work together on planning matters, seek to resolve differences, and how applications will be referred to Planning Committee.
We would like your views on the proposed protocols and on how you would like to be engaged on planning matters in future. Your feedback will help us refine the protocols and shape future communication and engagement arrangements with Elected Members and local councils.
