We have been kicked out of our rental property and now live with parents at the age of 52. We have no- where else to go. We have put in countless offers on houses at asking prices but have been gazumped with offers sometimes £50,000 over the asking price Pushed out by second home owners, developers, people changing rental places into holiday homes or Air B and B s and people re-locating and working from home. There is nothing out there we can afford to buy now. We are keyworkers that apparently the country can't do without, but we would be homeless if we didn't have parents to live with. Rent increases and rapid house price rises have pushed locals and people who work in the community out. No where to live in this day and age is shocking.
