Cornwall Housing are keen to hear what counts as value for money for you. As we roll out our 2026 – 2030 Value for Money Strategy, in line with our Business Plan, it’s important to have residents’ feedback. We’ll keep seeking feedback throughout the delivery of the strategy. Please let us know what you think below.

We will use your answers to help Cornwall Housing make improvements to the TSO service area.  Cornwall Housing will manage the survey and will handle your information safely and legally, in line with the UK Data Protection Law (UK GDPR). Any personal details will be kept for up to 18 months and then securely deleted. Your information will not be sold or shared, unless the law says we must.

Staffing, Supervision and Management:  Employee, agency and interim staffing costs across Cornwall Housing, including housing management staff, property services staff, management support and back office roles required to support all services provided to residents. 

Housing Management Services: non-staff costs associated with managing homes and tenancies, including housing operations, tenancy support, utilities, estate-related activity and other housing management responsibilities. 

Resources and Overheads: non-staff corporate and support costs, including legal, finance, governance, systems, procurement, offices and other central service support. 

Keeping homes safe: Statutory and compliance-related servicing activity, including gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella, fire safety, radon and other health and safety obligations. 

Response Repairs: Day-to-day responsive repair works required to maintain homes and communal areas, including plumbing, electrical, roofing, glazing, drainage and general repair activity. Works required to bring empty homes back into lettable condition, including standard void repairs, major void activity and works linked to reducing rent loss and active void numbers. 

Home Improvements: investment in the improvement, renewal and long-term condition of homes and buildings. It covers works that enhance or extend the life of homes and related assets, rather than day-to-day repairs and running costs.
