Tenancy Sustainment Strategy Survey

What is Tenancy Sustainment?

Tenancy sustainment means successfully staying in your property long term. There are lots of different issues that can impact successful tenancy sustainment, such as:

  • understanding your responsibilities as a tenant
  • managing bills and accessing benefits
  • maintaining your home through basic DIY
  • making sure you communicate with your landlord

Tenancy sustainment isn’t just about preventing someone from losing their home – it’s about helping them develop the knowledge, confidence, and stability needed to manage their accommodation independently into the future.

Why does this matter?

Cornwall Housing are creating a new Tenancy Sustainment Strategy, to support residents to build and maintain these skills, and we would like to hear your views about the issues that can impact tenancy sustainment.

It is important to include resident feedback in the planning stages of this new strategy, so that we are well informed about the challenges that residents can face in their homes and neighbourhoods, and what support might be most helpful.

Privacy Statement

We will use your answers to help Cornwall Housing make improvements to the organisation. Cornwall Housing will manage the survey and will handle your information safely and legally, in line with the UK Data Protection Law (UK GDPR). Any personal details will be kept for up to 18 months and then securely deleted. Your information will not be sold or shared, unless the law says we must.
