The Time2Move Holiday Programme is hoping to become a Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food partner in 2025 with the aim to support sustainable access to healthy and affordable food all year round for the children and families who attend your Time2Move Holiday Programme activities, as well as your wider communities.
Jamie’s Ministry of Food is a practical community-based cooking programme that teaches people of all ages how to cook from scratch – their youngest participant to date is 3 years old and their oldest is 97! In order to deliver this cooking programme, providers need to undertake specific training, and this has been accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. This training is called The Ministry of Food Train the Trainer programme, and we are looking to extend to you the offer to undertake the course.
This programme is an intensive training course which will upskill you in the essential skills needed to run these fun informative cooking courses. It is a combination of practical cooking, online nutrition tutorials and kitchen skills. Those who complete the course will gain confidence in delivery and equip themselves to encourage and support their Time2Move Holiday programme participants and wider communities to cook from scratch.
Interested? Then please fill out the application and we will let you know if you have been successful 😊
