Neurodivergence Inclusion Learning Session with Access Sport and Active Cornwall
What is a Neurodivergence Inclusion Training with Access Sport?
Our Neurodivergence Inclusion Training is designed to increase confidence, competence, and knowledge to create an inclusive sporting environment for neurodivergent participants, including participants who are Autistic, have ADHD, Dyspraxia and beyond. The session explores the experiences of neurodivergent people in a sport context, and what we can do to ensure the best experience possible, both within your existing delivery and in targeted delivery (e.g. SEND sessions). There will be opportunities to share your own experiences, and hear from peers and facilitators.
What will I learn?
Our Neurodivergence Inclusion Training will cover:
- Understanding neurodiversity and neurodivergence
- The importance of understanding neurodivergence and neurodivergent experiences in a sport and physical activity context
