Welcome to our page!

Who We Are:

As you will probably be aware, we are Cornwall Council’s Virtual School for Children in Care (CiC) and Previously Looked After Children (PLAC). You can find all of the statutory information you need on our Cornwall Council web pages.

Our Aim:

We have set up this forum to use as a platform to reach out to all of our children and foster carers. Our aim is to be able to communicate and engage with you more effectively. On this page we will provide you with all of our up to date projects, competitions and events.

We Need Your Help:

We would also like to hear from you. Your voice matters and we would like to hear what you have to say!

Have a look around and let us know what you think! How can we engage more with you? Is there anything you need from us? What would you find beneficial to your education that we could provide?

Is there any training we could provide for you (foster carers on children), that you would find useful? Please let us know (contact details on the right).

Festival of Celebration Postponed:

Whilst we know other public events and activities have been taking place this summer, following our own risk assessments, we have made the decision to postpone our Festival of Celebration event (18th September) until later in the term. Cornwall is currently in an Enhanced Area Response measure so to keep everyone safe we have had to make this decision.

We will now be hosting a Christmas themed celebration event for all of our foster carers and their children on Saturday 11th December at the same venue (Porthpean Outdoor Activity Centre, St Austell). The event will run from 10:00 – 15:00 and we will have lot’s of fun and activities for all.

We hope to see you all there!
