My Covid 19 Food Heroes

would like to thank the folks at Leedstown Farm Shop who during this stressful uncertain time reinvented themselves to provide us with a huge variety of foodstuffs which previously they did not stock. The shop was completely reorganised and re stocked. They also provided a free delivery service to those like me who were shielding and unable to shop personally, whereas large supermarkets continued to charge for deliveries regardless (when you could actually get one!). In addition I would like to thank Travaskis Farm for also providing a delivery service throughout lockdown and who have introduced a super click and collect service, safe distancing for pick your own on the farm to enable us to enjoy a little of life as it was last summer. Scarlet wines at Lelant have also kept us supplied with wonderful wine at affordable prices again delivered for Free! What fantastic people.. by reinventing themselves, working really hard and providing a super service, they have been able to continue in their businesses and we have benefited by supporting our local suppliers & farmers. Hurrah .
