GEL Ltd (Geothermal Engineering) Engagement Offer

Primary schools can visit the Geothermal site at United Downs or members of the team can visit individual schools in Cornwall. Both are free of charge and will incorporate a talk about the United Downs Deep Geothermal Power project, feature an animation and allow children to complete a fun worksheet to help cement the information they have learnt. The animation teaches why we can’t make more fossil fuels and about all the different types of renewable energy sources. It also explains geothermal power and heat as well as why Cornwall is the best place in the UK to utilise this renewable energy source.
