We are considering a new traffic light pedestrian crossing.
What are we consulting on?
The main objective is to improve safety for pedestrians having to cross the A390 to the Learning Centre and Primary School.
This scheme is for a traffic lights crossing at St Ann's Chapel, Gunnislake. The crossing location will be to the east of the junction between the A390 and C0068 leading to Gunnislake.
Why are we doing this?
The proposal for the crossing will replace the pedestrian island which has been removed and is considered that the introduction of this measure will help to increase safety of pedestrians when crossing the A390.
