Kinsman Estate and Treningle View
The Making Space for Nature project aims to improve many urban green spaces in Cornish towns, increasing their wildlife value, accessibility and community enjoyment.
We are planning new planting to increase the ecological and social value of Kinsman Estate and Treningle View. The new planting will increase species diversity compared to existing amenity grass, providing habitat for pollinators, garden birds and small mammals for instance. Blossoming trees and bulbs will bring a long-season of colour to the planting scheme.
Please have a look at the draft landscape plan in the documents section the main project page and then complete this survey to give us your views.
We are hoping to begin works in autumn 2021. Please note that these plans are INDICATIVE only and subject to feedback from this consultation.
Copies of the designs are also available to view on-site, beside the community hub building.
