As an organisation Cornwall Council are looking to do something different with the buildings we deliver services from. We want to create a single space for our customers to access multiple services and meet the needs of the local community.

A review of the Liskeard area has been carried out and, after considering various options, we have decided to build a new Service Hub. This new hub will be on the north-west portion of the former Cattle Market site in the Town Centre. You can find out more about the Liskeard Cattle Market on this webpage.

This new hub will cater for multiple services including the Family Hub, Registrars, Adult Education, Safe and Well, and the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). Development will be part of a wider masterplan for the site, which also includes new workspace units and community space.

We know that the needs of our communities, and the way in which they want to access our buildings have changed, and we want to change with them. For more information you can find the plans on the right-hand side of this page.
