We continue to make good progress, with the installation of new rock armour now completed along the shoreline up to the 115-metre mark.
The project team has now started removing the existing pre-cast concrete revetment between the 115m and 120m marks, and once this section has been cleared, the next phase of rock armour installation will begin in the coming week.
As construction progresses, the footpath closure remains in place between the 70m and 140m points, and will remain closed until the void-filling works commence towards the end of the project. This is essential to ensure the safety of the public and the site team, while heavy plant and materials continue to be used along the shoreline.
Thank you everyone for your continued patience and cooperation while these important coastal protection improvements are carried out.
Thank you for your contribution!
