Everyone can have a role in helping to shape our Local Nature Recovery Strategy. We want to ensure that we are listening to the views of everyone as we develop a road map towards our ambition for 30% of land, inland water and seas in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly being well-managed for nature by 2030.
From wildflowers to wetlands, our iconic Chough or the Scilly shrew! Take the survey below to tell us what nature you care about most in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to help shape the plan.
The Nature Recovery survey closed on 22nd November 2023. You can still tell us where you think there are opportunities for nature using our interactive map (below).
We will use the information you provide to inform the development of the plan and to help shape the strategy. You can view information on how we handle your data.
Will Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly data be used together or separately?
Both! The first survey question asks where you are a resident, this means that we can look at the responses separately for Cornwall and for the Isles of Scilly. This means there will be some priorities which are specific to the Isles of Scilly, reflecting their unique wildlife and habitats. For any specific questions about this get in touch via grow-nature@cornwall.gov.uk
