Funding
Community Infrastructure Levy Fund – supporting community groups, town and parish councils and not-for-profit organisations with local infrastructure projects that help to alleviate the impact of development on an area. Application deadline: 27 February 2026.
Cornwall Council and Crowdfunder’s Climate and Nature Fund – supporting projects that will help Cornwall tackle and respond to climate change and promote nature recovery. If your idea or project meets the criteria you can apply for a grant to match fund up to 50% of eligible costs, up to £5,000 – for exceptional projects that could offer a larger impact, we may offer grants of up to £15,000. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
Home Improvement Loan Scheme – the Council partners with Lendology CIC to help homeowners across Cornwall fund energy efficiency improvements. It is designed to help people who might find it hard to get a loan from a regular bank. Recently expanded from the Green Home Improvement Loan Scheme, to include a wider range of home improvements and bigger loan amounts – perfect for larger renovation projects.

The National Lottery Community Fund's Climate Action Fund - Food Systems – supporting ambitious, large-scale, partnership-led projects that can deliver systems-level change. Looking for organisations and collaborations with the experience, relationships and capacity to work at scale, using approaches such as agroecology to build food systems that are fairer, more resilient, and better for people, climate and nature. Open to applications.

Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly Growth Hub – providing support for all stages of your business journey and from small to large scale investment. You might need help to improve your financial skills in things like cash flow or forecasting, or maybe you want to identify and access finance and funding streams. The Growth Hub aims to help you find the right support to elevate your expertise and confidence to move your business forward.

The 2026 Soil Farmer of the Year Competition – celebrating farmers who are leading the way in practical, profitable soil management, whatever their farm size, sector, or system. This popular annual competition aims to showcase all the incredible work of farmers and growers who are leading the way in soil stewardship, as well as bringing people together to share good practices and innovations that improve soil health. Application deadline: 5 March 2026.
The Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Sustainability Awards – celebrating locally based organisations for their contribution towards sustainability, environmental growth, circular economy, and carbon neutrality. Reopens for entries on 1 May 2026.
Kernow Green Church Award – celebrating churches that are becoming environmentally sustainable and working toward climate justice. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
