George Slater (Faraday Delivery Lead) sharing expertiseCelebrating Two Years of EBP Delivery
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has announced a pause in the national delivery of the Faraday Challenge for the 2025/26 academic year. As a result, EBP will not be delivering the challenge this year.
Over the past two years, EBP has successfully delivered 25 Faraday Challenge Days across Cornwall, engaging students in dynamic, hands-on STEM experiences. These events have helped young people develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking - skills that are vital for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths.
We invite you to explore the Faraday Challenge Impact Report, which highlights the outcomes of our work, including key quotes and evidence of the positive impact on schools and students. Please see the documents section.
Although the challenge is paused nationally, schools can still run their own DIY Faraday Challenge Days using free resources provided by the IET.
Continued STEM Support from EBP
Although the Faraday Challenge is paused nationally by the IET for 2025/26, EBP remains committed to delivering innovative, hands-on STEM learning experiences for schools across Cornwall.
Our team are available to support your school through our Service Level Agreement (SLA) offer. We specialise in designing and delivering engaging STEM activities that align with curriculum goals, promote real-world problem-solving, and inspire students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and maths.
Whether you're looking to run a bespoke STEM day or embed STEM themes into your wider school programme, we can work with you to create impactful experiences tailored to your students' needs.
