What's On – 2026
Future Coast Bude is hosting their first Community Conversation, 16:00-19:00 on 23 April 2026, Ivor Potter Hall, Parkhouse Centre. Find out more This drop-in event is an opportunity to learn more about coastal change, explore interactive activities, and share your views on the future of Bude’s coastline. No prior knowledge is needed and everyone is welcome to come along at any time between 4pm and 7pm. It will include the screening of a new series of short films exploring Bude's changing coastline, in a mini cinema with popcorn.
Beach Guardian is hosting a screening of The Tales of Cetus, 20:00 on 26 April 2026, The Regal Cinema, Wadebridge. Book your place An inspiring feature-length documentary project that follows both environmentalists and artists in their fight against plastic pollution. Delving into not only the problem of plastic pollution but also the power we all have to inspire and create positive change. A free event including Q&A with the film and Beach Guardian team.
Cornwall Climate Action Coalition is holding a Community Conversation on Cornwall's energy, 11:00-14:00 on 26 April 2026, Dracaena Centre, Falmouth. Book your place Cornwall Climate Action Coalition are hosting Community Conversations on energy across Cornwall. The conversations will be informed by the Local Area Energy Plan (LAEP), which sets out how Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly can reduce reliance on fossil fuels, by making greater use of our local resources (solar, wind, geothermal, and biomethane).
