Climate Café Listening Circles in Cornwall. Multiple dates for sign-up in 2026. Find out more Climate Café Listening Circles are simple, hospitable, empathetic spaces where fears and uncertainties about the climate and ecological crisis can be safely expressed. They are held across Cornwall.

Truro and Penwith College fully funded External Wall Insulation Taster one day in-person course at Truro & Penwith College. Dates available: 9 February 2026 and 26 March 2026. Book your place Whatever your skill set, you’re invited to join a fully funded one day taster course in this essential trade. The day is led by an industry specialist with years of experience and participants will learn the fundamentals as way of an introduction to EWI (External Wall Insulation). This is a practical course during which you will get to apply EWI panels, mesh and render. You will also learn some key points of theory.
Climate Writing Masterclass with Natalie Hart, 10:00-13:00 on 11 February 2026, The Writers' Block, TR15 2QE. Book your place The climate crisis is often described as a crisis of imagination. But what if your writing could be part of the solution? This masterclass is for writers of any genre curious about bringing climate and ocean themes into their work. Bring a notebook, a pen, and an open mind. No previous experience with climate writing is needed, just a willingness to experiment and think creatively about what's possible.
Cornwall Climate Action Coalition is holding a Community Conversation on Cornwall's energy at 15:30-18:00 on 15 February 2026, The Engine Room, Exchange Gallery, Penzance. Book your place Cornwall Climate Action Coalition are hosting Community Conversations on energy in 2026, which will take place across Cornwall. The conversations will be informed by the Local Area Energy Plan (LAEP), which sets out how Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly can reduce reliance on fossil fuels, by making greater use of our local resources (solar, wind, geothermal, and biomethane). Join for the first one of the series. Everyone welcome.

Book your place This will be a fun day of planting orchards and native trees to create Trenance Community Woodland. We’re transforming a half hectare green space into a nature-friendly park and we'd love your support! Come for an hour or stay longer, everyone is welcome to drop in anytime during the day.

University of Plymouth fully funded in-person event on Community Energy in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, 11:30-17:00 on 27 February 2026, Liskeard Library. Book your place This event builds on the success of the Plugging In event on 14 October 2025 and comes at a critical moment for the sector. Delivered in collaboration with key partners, the event will bring together community groups, local authorities, and sector experts to share insights, make connections, and explore the growing support and funding available to accelerate community-scale renewables in Cornwall. Book your place Join this screening of a documentary following two artist activists who engage their neighbours to install solar panels on every house in their street, showing how local communities can come together around both energy generation and everyday energy use through creativity and collective action.

Book your place Beginning with an overview of greenhouse gas emissions and their impact, we'll delve into strategies for achieving net-zero carbon emissions, considering sectors like energy, transport, buildings and agriculture, where most emissions come from. No prior knowledge is required for this workshop, so whether you are a student, professional, policymaker, or simply someone who wants to find out more about the need to reach net zero carbon emissions, you can register for free.

Learn all about the Ocean Buffer Project, discover what the project aims to do and find out how to get involved. We are a not-for-profit, community-led movement based in Cornwall.
