Education Business Partnership (EBP) runs projects for young people across Cornwall. The team helps young people gain skills, learn about jobs and prepare for their future.

Together, we provide high-quality support that helps young people achieve their goals and succeed in education, training, and employment.
EBP supports schools through two work experience programmes. These programmes give pupils the opportunity to experience the workplace, develop valuable skills, and prepare for their future careers.
Management of Work Experience Scheme - This scheme helps schools run safe work experience. Schools get support, employer contacts, safety checks, and pupil logbooks. They also receive updates during the process and a certificate when they finish.
Passport to Work Experience - This programme helps pupils learn about work. They take part in workplace activities and build skills for the future. Pupils work with local employers and training providers. They take part in enterprise activities and learn about different jobs. They also have the opportunity to learn how to write a CV and prepare for interviews.
STEAM Days - The team delivers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) sessions across Cornwall. Sessions are delivered in community centre, schools and alternative provision settings.
Young people take part in practical activities and challenges. They learn new skills and work together to solve problems. From building with LEGO to launching rocket cars, there is a wide range of activities to get young people thinking, learning and trying new things.
Sessions show how STEAM is used in everyday life. They help young people learn about different jobs and understand how these subjects can shape their future. Sessions take place in schools and other local settings across Cornwall. They help young people build confidence, develop skills and think about their next steps.

Lego League
The FIRST LEGO League is a global programme that helps young people learn about STEAM through robotics and problem-solving challenges. In Cornwall, EBP organises the event and brings together around 500 pupils over two days to take part in this exciting competition.

Cornwall Climate Education
EBP helps schools take action on climate change. The Cornwall Climate Champions Award helps young people learn new skills and take action at school, at home and in their local community. The team works with schools and trusted partners to provide workshops and support.
EBP also helps schools measure their carbon emissions and create Climate Action Plans. These plans help schools reduce their environmental impact.

In partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry, EBP delivers workshops in schools. The project aims to increase interest in STEAM careers.
Young people learn how chemistry is used in everyday life. They see how science helps solve real problems and supports many different jobs. The project encourages young people to think about their future and explore careers in science.
