What does tranquillity mean to you? Cornwall National Landscape are working with Falmouth University to research people’s experiences of their time spent outside. We need your help to better understand what people need to feel tranquil.
National Landscapes are protected landscapes whose distinctive character and natural beauty are so outstanding that it is in the nation’s interest to safeguard them. They are nationally designated by the same laws as National Parks and have the same status and level of protection. Cornwall National Landscape is unique; it is the only protected landscape that has 12 separate sections, totalling almost a third of Cornwall – an area equivalent in size to Dartmoor National Park.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. All questions are optional. By proceeding to the survey, you are agreeing that we can store the information you provide to us. Please read our privacy notice for more details.

We want to understand how different people experience tranquillity, and how they feel when visiting the outdoors, and we know that these experiences won’t be the same for everyone.
