The Carbon Neutral Cornwall 'Hive’ is Cornwall's new online resource to help you find out what other people are doing to help tackle climate change, and where you can share your own ideas, and information about your carbon neutral projects and activities.

The people of Cornwall and our communities are strong and connected at the best and worst of times. Our passion and endurance have brought us through many hard times and is helping us through the Coronavirus pandemic.

Arguably climate change is the biggest challenge we face in the next ten years, and we will all have to work together to reduce greenhouse gases and carbon emissions in our atmosphere and for Cornwall to become carbon neutral.

There is a huge amount of information and inspiration, even some of the answers to climate change, within Cornwall.

The Hive is a platform for everyone in Cornwall to share information, resources, and ideas, to help grow confidence and solutions.

The Coronavirus pandemic has meant we have all had to change how we behave.

During 'lockdown' our movements outside our homes was restricted and we were only able to go out for food shopping, collecting medication and exercise. Our roads were quiet, we used our local grocery shops more, and we

Cornwall Council is reshaping how we function and work placing climate change at the heart of our 'new normal'. We are using the changes we had to introduce during the Coronavirus pandemic to become a carbon neutral council that puts people and the planet first.

What have you been doing differently since the Coronavirus pandemic that you could keep as your 'new normal'?

How can we keep our climate friendly ways to help tackle climate change?
