Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly People Hub serves as a single point of contact for residents aged 16 and over who are seeking support with employment, training, and skills development. The People Hub is designed to help individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (CIOS) identify clear pathways toward achieving their personal and professional goals.
This integrated "single front door" approach offers:
Independent triage and signposting services to guide individuals to the most appropriate support.
Personalised one-to-one support based on Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) principles.
Access to specialist providers who offer tailored support for specific groups, including individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, care leavers, refugees, ex-offenders, and those with health and wellbeing needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and neurodiversity.
Opportunities for funded training and qualifications to enhance skills and improve employability.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
