Cornwall Council has been invited by the Department for Transport to take part in a national pilot, offering a rural perspective on how bus networks are delivered.
With new legislation set to give local authorities greater control over bus services, between December 2025 and January 2026 we asked for your thoughts on the current bus network. You told us what’s important to you so that we can understand what works, what could be improved, and what would make buses a better choice for you and your community.
A summary of the report on this piece of work is now available. We will be using these valuable insights to inform our current bus operations and future priorities and investment.
If you have any questions on the survey or summary report, please contact: transport@cornwall.gov.uk
