Improving the Council’s annual budget setting process

As part of the last budget process, we encouraged officers to try to find ways of making the Council’s annual budget setting process, which can be confusing, more understandable and as transparent as possible so that all Councillors can knowledgeably sign off the budget at full Council every February. We tried some new ways of doing things for this last budget setting round and have had positive comments which we would like to capture. To support further improvement it would be really helpful if you would complete this short survey to help us understand your thoughts, experience, and suggestions to make the process even better for next year.

Your responses will be consolidated into a single report that will be presented to CASSOSC in April and all comments will be anonymised. If you would prefer to have a conversation about the process please contact Ellie Willcocks at Ellie.willcocks@cornwall.gov.uk and your response will be added to the consolidated report.
