What are we consulting on?
We would like to hear your views on some planned changes linked to the new housing developments on Priory Road, Bodmin. We are proposing to introduce a set of safety measures. These include new signal‑controlled pedestrian and toucan crossings, extra double yellow line parking restrictions at the entrance to the new development, and a new 40mph speed limit.
Why are we doing this?
These changes are designed to help manage traffic and make the roads safer in the area. They are being suggested because the new housing developments will bring more cars, cyclists and people walking. The aim is to improve safety for everyone, especially those who are more at risk, by adding safer places to cross the road, stopping cars from parking in ways that block junctions, and slowing down traffic on Priory Road.
