What are we consulting on?
We are seeking your views on a proposal to amend the speed limit on Boundary Road, Bodmin.
This proposal includes an extension to the existing 30mph speed limit to encompass the new development and the junction providing access to it. This will be complemented by the provision of new street lighting and a new shared-use path for pedestrians and cyclists.
Why are we doing this?
This proposal has been brought forward as part of a Section 278 agreement between Cornwall Council and a developer. The aim is to improve highway safety for all road users by reducing vehicle speeds along Boundary Road.
