Illogan, Balkin Way: New footway and bus shelter.
Balkin Way
We are proposing a new section of footway and bus shelter along Balkin Way, Illogan, Redruth.
What are we consulting on?
We are proposing improvements along Balkin Way in Redruth by adding a new section of footway and a bus shelter close to the Harrison Gardens junction. The shelter will include seating, a timetable case and be finished in green.
Why are we doing this?
We have been asked by the local Parish Council to update the current bus stop.
Currently, passengers waiting for buses must either stand on the grass or block the existing footway while waiting to be picked up. To improve this, we are planning to install a new section of footway and a new bus shelter which will also provide protection from the weather.
