Help us name our brand-new directory!

We're creating a new Directory of Services to make it easier for people to find local organisations, community services, care and support in Cornwall — and we’d love your help choosing a name!

This directory will be a one-stop hub for information, advice, and access to services that support people to live well and independently.

As part of the Safe and Caring Communities Directorate’s strategic priorities, the project aims to improve access to trusted information and support for residents with care needs, while also providing valuable guidance and resources for the wider community.

Central to this initiative is a Directory of Services, a user-friendly digital platform that connects residents, families, carers, and professionals with a wide range of local services and resources. It empowers users to find, compare, and manage care and support options tailored to their needs.

• Comprehensive Listings - includes care providers, voluntary organisations, community groups, and health services
• Smart Search and Filter - enables users to search by location, service type, or specific needs, and compare available options
• Quality Assurance - highlights verified and council-commissioned services to ensure reliability and trust
• Personalised Information Booklet - users can curate a custom PDF booklet without needing to sign in, ideal for sharing with those who are digitally excluded
• Information Banner - promotes key services, updates, and messages directly on the platform homepage

How will you protect my information?

Your data will be stored securely and will only be accessible by members of Adult Social Care. Your consent for your data to be used in the evaluation will be assumed from you starting the survey.

How will you store my personal data?

Survey responses will be collected using the Let’s Talk Cornwall survey software. By completing this survey, you consent to this transfer of your information. This includes any information which may represent your personal data. All the information you share with Adult Social Care will be stored safely for the duration of the evaluation. It will be destroyed one year after it has finished.

Let’s Talk Cornwall is the system used to collate the data and create reports from it.
