This survey relates to the Workforce Recruitment and Retention Fund (WRRF) Round 1 Grant only (please do not provide information on spend against other funds such as WRRF 2 (staff bonuses) IPC, CEV etc.)
The government's Workforce Recruitment and Retention Fund was designed to support local authorities and care providers with recruitment and retention activity to address pressures on the adult social care workforce over the winter period 2021-22 and support timely and safe discharge from hospital.
In line with the conditions of the grant, as a local authority Cornwall Council is required to provide returns to central government detailing how the money has been spent and the impact it has had. The final return is required by 29th April and in order to complete this we require some information from you.
This survey is designed to collect the relevant information in a simple and straightforward way. It relates to the spend and impact of WRRF Round One ONLY as we already have the required information for Round Two spend. [N.B. Round One was paid as two separate payments one in January 2022 - WRRF1.1 and one in February 2022 – WRRF1.2]
You are required to complete this survey by midday Tuesday 19thApril to enable us to collate the responses ready for submission by the government deadline.
The period of time referenced in the survey is the full period of Round One of the grant 21st October 2021 to 31st March 2022.
Some of you will have already completed a survey for the first reporting period (to 30th November only). However, the data you provided was specific to this first return and we are not able to use the information previously submitted for this final return which requires different and additional data.
If you need a reminder of how much money you received through WRRF1.1 and WRRF1.2 contact us at acld@cornwall.gov.uk Details of the spend you provide should equal, and not exceed, the amount that you were allocated.
