All of the Metropave (the recycled plastic cellular paving material used for the car parking bays), has now been installed on the eastern side of the site. The team is continuing to work down through this area with the remaining Truckcell installation, which forms the main recycled plastic cellular paving system for the car park surface.

On the western side, preparation works are also moving forward. Bedding material is currently being installed and levelled using screeding methods, ready for the continued installation of the Metropave and Truckcell paving. The drainage works across the site are now complete, and the final section of kerbing on the western side has also now been finished.

Excavated material from the site is due to be screened and re-laid into the paving before being seeded. This will help create a permeable surface finish that remains in keeping with the natural surroundings.
