Stillness and Light - The October Creative Residency

Claire Wilson has been selected for the arts residency at Tehidy Woods this September, part of the Tehidy Creative Community and Wellness Initiative. A professional photographer for 19 years, Claire works under the name Elowen Media, specialising in brand and portrait photography. This residency follows her successful project and book, Hidden in Plain Sight: A Photographic Journey into Cornish Mines, and marks an exciting new chapter in her work.

Stillness and Light” is a project by Elowen Media, exploring how nature, slowing down, and re-framing our experiences through photography can promote positive well-being.

During the residency, Claire will explore light, stillness, and the subtle rhythms of the woods, run photography workshops, document her process, and create a book and 2026 calendar, bringing her signature attention to detail and thoughtful observation into a nature-inspired context.
