First Tehidy Creative Residency Starts

A collaboration between Cornwall Council and Creative Kernow will see the first of a series of artists embed in the woods at Tehidy early in 2025.

Artist and facilitator, Kate Broad, will be taking up the residency from January, to explore layers of landscape, both internal and external through multi-disciplinary drawing practice.

The Tehidy Creative Residencies are open to all creative disciplines with few stipulations except that the outputs must help engage a wider, more diverse audience with the Country Park, and its ambition to be an exemplar of a sustainable site where nature, heritage and people thrive together.

Kate will be running creative drawing workshops that engage participants with the local environs including themes of ‘Rewilding’ and ‘Immersive Life Drawing’ responding to Tehidy’s rich natural and social history.

Check this site for a full programme of events early in 2025.
