Saltash, Carkeel: New bus shelter
We are proposing a new footway and bus shelter along the A388, Carkeel.
What are we consulting on?
We are proposing improvements along the A388 at Carkeel by widening a section of footway and placing a new bus shelter in between the two roundabouts near Saltash Services and Tamar View Industrial Estate. The shelter will include seating, a timetable case, an advertising panel and be finished in green.
Why are we doing this?
This area has been identified by Cornwall Council as part of their programme of upgrading bus stops across Cornwall to make public transport more user friendly.
Currently, passengers waiting for buses have no protection from the weather. The widened footway and shelter will provide greater comfort and protection from the weather.
