We are proposing a new pedestrian crossing, raised table and priority give way buildout in Roche adjacent to Roche school on the C0018.
What are we consulting on?
A raised table will be installed adjacent to the existing access to the park, providing a new uncontrolled crossing point and slowing feature for vehicles travelling past the school. The priority give way narrowing of the road will additionally help to slow vehicles and narrow the width that pedestrians need to cross.
The site notice can be downloaded here.
Why are we doing this?
The project will make it easier for all users to cross the road, including schoolchildren.
