Consultation has concluded

The number of refugee children and families and separated children seeking asylum continues to grow in Cornwall through various resettlement schemes. It is vitally important that teachers, schools and school leaders are supported effectively as they welcome young refugees and asylum seekers into their classes.

Cornwall Council has extended the Homes for Ukraine project to create a new Resettlement Service and are seeking suggestions from schools about how best to support them in this survey. Cornwall’s Resettlement Service is committed to supporting schools, colleges and settings who have welcomed refugees and/or asylum-seekers and your views are vital to help shape the support we provide.

This survey closes after 26 May 2023
