The Registered Manager Development Programme (RMDP) is for aspiring managers and registered managers who are based in Cornwall.

The RMDP will be approximately 10 days in length which will be delivered over a period of 2-3 months. This is to mitigate the disruption to your role while you attend this programme. All session dates will be given to you before the start of the programme to enable planning and commitment. Sessions will be delivered in mixed format of face-to-face, and online. It is essential that you attend every session if you are selected. Please do not apply if you are unable to attend every session. Dates of sessions are on the RMDP web page.

Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application 2 weeks before the start of the programme.

As this is a fully funded programme and applicants will be selected at random.

  • This form is for international care workers looking for alternative sponsorship in Cornwall. Please complete all sections to help us signpost you to potential employment opportunities.  

    Important notes for consideration: 

    • It is your responsibility to regularise your immigration status in the UK either through finding a new sponsor or another route.  

    • Proud to Care Cornwall cannot provide legal, or immigration advice and you should seek independent advice.  

    • We provide support with finding new sponsors in the care sector. If you need to access support with other needs or queries, we will signpost you to the most appropriate organisation/resources. 

    • This support is to help you find a new sponsor in a care worker or senior care worker role. If you are seeking a different role, we are unable to provide support.  

    • You must take steps to seek a new sponsor in addition to any support we offer.  

    • We cannot guarantee we will be able to match you to a new sponsor and cannot guarantee you will find a new job through this support.  

    • If you do not have the correct skills, experience, or values to undertake a role in care, we are unable to support you.  

    • You are not obligated to accept any job offers you receive through the job matching support.   

    • The support service is voluntary, and you can disengage at any time. You should notify us via email if you no longer want or need to access support. 

    • If you accept a job with a new sponsor, regularise your stay through another route, or choose to leave the UK voluntarily, please notify us via email at proudtocaresponsored@cornwall.gov.uk

  • The Future Care Leader Programme has been co-designed with Cornwall's adult social care workforce to develop confident, capable leaders through immersive, real-life learning experiences. Rather than traditional classroom training, you'll tackle realistic scenarios to build your confidence as a leader.

    Developed in partnership with Diagram Learning Studio, this programme is designed for people working in Cornwall's adult social care sector who are new to leadership or aspiring to lead in the future. This programme is for senior care workers, senior support workers, team leaders, or those in equivalent roles.
