PFR Scheme Goes Live!

The 2025 - 2027 Property Flood Resilience (PFR) scheme went live in September 2025! Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in the scheme, being able to demonstrate the demand for PFR in Cornwall helped secure funding for the scheme.

A first batch of 33 properties have been selected. These properties will all have a survey in October. These surveys will be done by JBA Consulting. JBA have lots of experience conducting these surveys, and also completed the surveys for our previous PFR scheme, in 2020 - 2022. We have funding for a further 35 properties, which we will split into further batches.

We have now reviewed all applications for the scheme, up to the beginning of October. Each application has been categorised as a yes, no or hold. All the yes and no properties have been contacted to let you know the outcome. If you haven't heard from us, it means your property is a hold. This means we either are still checking some details for the property, or its flood risk is lower than other applicants. As soon as we have a final decision for your property we'll be in touch with an update. We are periodically reviewing new applications that come in, and the expression of interest form will stay open.
