Cornwall Council is inviting residents, businesses, and visitors to take part in a public consultation on proposed amendments to the Off Street Parking Order. These initiatives aim to ensure our parking assets are managed effectively and in alignment with wider traffic management objectives, including improving road safety, reducing congestion, and supporting sustainable transport.

Your feedback will help shape how parking managed in your community, ensuring it meets the needs of local communities while supporting Cornwall’s environmental and economic goals.

This amendment will be supplemental to all other Cornwall Council Parking Orders and will make the following changes:

• Introduction of Towan Headland, Newquay to the Parking Order

• Introduction of a ‘Parking Only’ charge of £1.00 per day at the following sites:

  • Langarth Park & Ride, Truro
  • Tregurra Park & Ride, Truro

Representations (objection or support) to the proposed Order should be in writing and received by 3rd December 2025 - addressed to: Parking Services, PO Box 664, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 9DH, to parking@cornwall.gov.uk or via the questionnaire below.
