Padstow Holiday Park: Formalisation of existing Northbound bus stop

We are proposing improvements to the existing northbound bus stop waiting area located on the A389 near Padstow Holiday Park.

What are we consulting on?

We are seeking public comments on a proposal to improve access to bus services at Padstow Holiday Park, Padstow.

The proposed scheme includes improvements to the existing northbound bus stop located on the A389 which is situated in close proximity to the entrance to Padstow Holiday Park.

Currently, pedestrians waiting for a bus make use of the grass verge adjacent to the northbound bus stop. The proposed scheme will provide a new pedestrian footway from the junction entrance, creating a safe and accessible link to the bus waiting area.

These improvements aim to enhance access to public transport, provide safer pedestrian connections, and encourage sustainable travel in the area.

Why are we doing this?

This area has been identified by Cornwall Council as part of their programme of upgrading bus stops across Cornwall to make public transport more user friendly. This location has been identified by the local community as requiring improvement and upgrading to make public transport more accessible, safe and comfortable.
