We are proposing to construct a new bus shelter at Perran Lodge.

What are we consulting on?

We are proposing to install a new 2-bay bus shelter with living roof to the A3058 westbound footway opposite the eastbound existing bus shelter. The existing bus stop sign, post and timetable case will be removed. A new bracket and frame will be installed to the new shelter to accommodate the bus stop flag sign, timetable and signage.

Why are we doing this?

This area has been identified by Cornwall Council as part of their programme of upgrading bus stops across Cornwall to make public transport more user friendly. Currently, passengers waiting for buses have no protection from the weather. The new shelter will provide greater comfort and protection from the weather.

Once the Consultation finishes on the 24th July 2025, we will collect all the feedback and decide what to do next.
