Mark Warren - BID Manager says

"Newquay BID is proud to work alongside all of the Newquay Clean organisations, supporting the fantastic work they do to keep our town, beaches, neighbourhoods, parks and green spaces clean, welcoming and looking their very best. It’s a genuinely strong and meaningful partnership, where we regularly share ideas, collaborate and, most importantly, get things done. I’m personally proud to be part of this group, particularly in supporting our town centre. From tackling graffiti and addressing business waste to improving overall street cleanliness, it’s about making sure Newquay continues to look its absolute best not just for our local community, but for everyone who visits throughout the year. Together, we’re helping ensure our town remains somewhere we can all take pride in."

Collaboration like this not only helps tackle immediate environmental challenges, but also builds stronger connections, shared understanding and long-term pride in place. We are proud to be part of a partnership that turns concern into practical action and shows the value of collective community effort.”

NMG is a community group and members have a chance to join the meetings or bring up any questions that can be discussed there. The members are also part of other community groups such as Friends of Fistral Dunes and wildlife groups so they can allow a wider public voice.

    Laura Guy-Wilkinson says:

“Newquay Clean organically grew by putting people around a virtual table to have a conversation. The thing we are most proud of is the communication. There is no them and us. It is a collaboration to make Newquay a better place to live, to visit and for the environment. It feels like we are all working together and this is obvious by the informality and successes we have seen over the year. We hope to build upon these foundations over the next year to bring about real positive change in our town.”
