We are proposing to widen the footways at Morvah Reach for new bus stops.
What are we consulting on?
We are proposing to introduce new bus stops adjacent to junction access to Morvah Reach housing development, along Longrock Road (C0745) with one stop on each side of the carriageway. The eastbound bus stop will be located adjacent to the junction access to Morvah Reach housing development, and the westbound bus stop approximately 40 meters west of the junction.
The proposal involves widening of the existing footways to provide safe waiting areas for passengers.
Why are we doing this?
This area has been identified by Cornwall Council as part of their programme of upgrading bus stops across Cornwall to make public transport more user friendly.
Currently, there are no bus stops at this location.
Passengers from Morvah Reach housing development have to walk approximately 500 meters for access to bus stop services.
