As you are aware Covid cases are on the rise again. We are asking all attendees to do a lateral flow test in the morning and to not attend if you are positive or have any Covid symptoms. There won’t be any social distancing at the event so please do wear a mask at your discretion.
Green Bank Repairs Volunteer Day
Help protect the footpath along the River Hayle
Join us on 15th August to install green bank repairs to reduce loss of the footpath from river and user erosion.
When: 15th August at 10 a.m.
Where: Meet at Green Lane Gaging Station (what3words = clubbing.reverses.online).
The session will be working in the section between Green Lane and Carbis Mill, meeting at 10am at the Green Lane Gaging Station to walk on from there, leaving at 10.10am.
Wear: Long sleeves and trousers, wellies or work boots.
Bring: Snack, drink, sun protection.

Tree Planting Volunteer Event
River Hayle Footpath Volunteer Day
Help protect the footpath along the River Hayle
When: Tuesday 6th February at 10am
Where: Meet at Green Lane Gaging Station what3words: clubbing.reverses.online
Wear: Long sleeves and trousers, wellies or work boots.
Bring: Snack, drink.
Join us on 6th February to plant trees along the rover bank to protect the footpath from river erosion.
Problem: The river is meandering into the footpath, placing it at risk of loss.
Solution: Planting trees will help secure the bank sediment and slow river movement.
Event information
The session will be working in the section between Green Lane and Carbis Mill, meeting at 10am at the Green Lane Gaging Station to walk on from there, leaving at 10.10am.
Tools, gloves, goggles and a tabard will be provided for the activity.
All participants must register.
