Super Saltash!
Saltash School Hosts Inspiring Faraday Challenge Event
The Education Business Partnership (EBP) recently teamed up with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to bring an exciting Faraday Challenge to Saltash School. This hands-on STEM event offered students a fantastic opportunity to experience the world of engineering, working as part of a team to solve real-world challenges.
Students from Saltash School threw themselves into the task, collaborating in teams to create innovative prototypes. The atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm as students applied their creativity and problem-solving skills.
We were also thrilled to have the support of two incredible female STEM ambassadors who played a key role in inspiring the students. Their personal stories and experiences in the world of STEM encouraged the young people to see the diverse career opportunities available in engineering. Their passion and insight left a lasting impression, helping to break down barriers and showing that STEM is for everyone, regardless of gender.
One student commented, "This is an inspirational day and an amazing way to encourage young people into engineering." - STEM Ambassador
While only one team could claim the title of winner, every group showed incredible dedication, teamwork, and ingenuity. Each team applied engineering principles with impressive skill, showcasing the qualities needed for a successful future in STEM.
A big thank you to Saltash School for hosting the event and to IET for their continued support. We look forward to working together to inspire and support the next generation of engineers.

Thank you for your contribution!
