As an organisation Cornwall Council are looking to do something different with the buildings we deliver services from. We want to create a single space for our customers to access multiple services and meet the needs of the local community.
A review of Falmouth and the surrounding area has been carried out and, after considering various options, we have decided to create a new service hub at Tregenver Road which is currently used by Adult Education and Adult Day Services.
We will continue to provide Adult Education and Adult Day Services in the hub, as well as additional services including Registrars, our Children and Family services and Safe and Well services. The Family Hub services provided from The Lighthouse Family Hub will continue to operate due to the catchment area it serves.
There are three buildings on the Tregenver site, however we will only be making internal changes to the main building. For more information about these changes, please see the plans on the right-hand site of this page.
We are proposing the installation of solar canopies in the car park. These will improve the overall carbon footprint of the Tregenver building by reducing its reliance on non-renewable energy. You can also find these plans on the right of this page,
We know that the needs of our communities, and the way in which they want to access our buildings have changed, and we want to change with them.
