Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service invited you to have your say on the next Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP).

What is a Community Risk Management Plan?

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) outlines how we will address the key challenges and risks our communities face over the next four years. The Government requires all fire and rescue services to produce a CRMP that is developed in consultation with the public, partners and key stakeholders.

What asked your feedback about:

  1. Fire stationsWe want to understand how much you know about your local fire station.

  1. Our purpose statement We want your feedback on how we best express our purpose

  1. Sharing information– How should we communicate with you?

  1. Safety education and awareness – Where should we focus our fire safety education and awareness efforts?

  1. Emergency response times We’ll always aim to reach an incident as quickly as possible. We’re updating our response times and would like to know how you would like us to keep you informed about our emergency response times.

A survey was available to provide your feedback from 1 August until 30 October 2025.

Next Steps

All your feedback is being analysed and will be taken into consideration in the development of our CRMP 2026-30, which will be published in April 2026.
