Welcome to the Local Nature Partnership's new Chair!

We are delighted that Lord Taylor of Goss Moor (Matthew) has been appointed as the new Chair of the Local Nature Partnership.

Matthew has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the partnership. Matthew is well known locally, having been MP for Truro & St Austell for 23 years, and has since worked on national government reviews of the planning system, alongside the creation of the Government’s Garden Communities Programme. He won Green Magazine award for 'Most effective environmental MP' in 1996, and has spent time on the Environmental Audit Select Committee.

Matthew currently chairs the leading customer and environmental challenge group ‘Watershare+’ and more recently he has been appointed as the new chair of the Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
