Connor Downs, Gwithian Road: New footway for bus stop.
We are proposing a new section of footway and bus stop with a bench near the junction at Kensa Way.
What are we consulting on?
We are proposing improvements to an existing bus stops situated along Gwithian Road close to the Horsepool Road junction in Connor Downs. This stop currently does not provide a waiting area for pedestrians in the southbound direction of travel. We propose to add a new section of footway within the existing verge to create a designated area for pedestrians to access southbound bus services. The footway will include a new bench, a post for bus stop flag sign and timetable case. Dropped kerbs to both the new section of footway and existing footway opposite will create an uncontrolled crossing point allowing pedestrian access.
A bus stop flag sign and timetable case will be attached to an existing streetlight in the northbound direction.
