CIOS LNP Surveys

As part of our recent governance review we would like your views about the partnership, to find out what works well, and what can be improved. 

Please can you respond to the following statements and provide any other feedback at the end of the survey by 19 September 2025.  The survey is made up of 6 pages containing 21 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

As agreed at February's Healthy Rivers and Seas Summit there will be a follow up meeting where updates will be given on the identified actions.   Please complete the following survey by 21st August which will enable us to pull together what actions have been taken so far, and what has been planned, ready for the follow-up meeting on 11th September 2026. 

Background:

The Summit workshop picked up on the themes below and identified issues and opportunities which have informed our collective next steps.  Here is a reminder of the Action Plan which colleagues across Cornwall Council and multiple partner organisations have picked up and are working on.  

Themes:

1. Government Water Bill
2. Investment is a political decision
3. Planning, housing and putting water at the heart of planning for the future
4. Slurry stores and nutrient management
5. Communication, education and behaviour change - personal responsibility
6. Nature based solutions and positive land management, healthy soils, nature-friendly farming
7. Water quantity – drought and flood
8. Private drainage – septic tanks
9. Bathing waters and transparency of data
10. Spreading of sewage sludge
11. Joined up thinking

Why is my data being collected?

Cornwall Council is collecting this information in order to give a progress update to attendees at a Healthy Rivers and Seas Summit Workshop follow up meeting. 

What will you do with my data?

Your data will be held within Cornwall Council’s secure network and premises for up to 2 years. Where we ask you to supply contact information on this form, we will only make access to this data available to authorised members of staff who are required to process it for the purposes outlined in this privacy notice.

What are my data rights?

Your personal information belongs to you and you have the right to:

• be informed of how we will process it
• request a copy of what we hold about you and in commonly used electronic format if you wish (if you provided this to us electronically for automated processing, we will return it in the same way)
• have it amended if it’s incorrect or incomplete
• have it deleted (where we do not have a legal requirement to retain it)
• withdraw your consent if you no longer wish us to process
• restrict how we process it
• object to us using it for marketing or research purposes
• object to us using it in relation to a legal task or in the exercise of an official authority
• request that a person reviews an automated decision where it has had an adverse effect on you

Please note that other information you provide, including responses to open questions, may be published in full and attributed to your organisation. Where this happens, your name will not be published.

I don’t agree with something

We would prefer any complaints to be made to us initially so that we have the opportunity to see if we can put things right.
